Beastly Beverage Club is back!The exclusive NEW Beastly Beverage Club offers a space for only those holding tickets, access to the NEW Safari Lodge. This VIP area is the only air-conditioned space in the event and features, your own DJ, extra food and specialty beers and more in a beautiful venue.
Several bay area restaurants provide a tantalizing selection of local cuisine, and guests can party or kick back and relax with a variety of live entertainment throughout the evening. All proceeds from the event benefit animals at the Zoo.

EVERYONE ENTERS at 7:30 p.m. at the Zoo's main entrance. Beastly Beverage Club ticket holders have exclusive entry into the new Safari Lodge VIP area.
Event is rain or shine. No refunds.

ID's will be checked at the front gate and wristbands issued. WaZoo is a fundraising event for Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo,

Frequently Asked Questions About WaZoo:
Q: My tickets were ordered online/on the phone and now are at Will Call. What do I do?
A: You may choose to have your tickets sent to you certified mail for an additional fee (deadlines apply). You can also pick them up at the front gates of the Zoo in advance of the event (beginning July 15) during business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.), or you can pick them up the day of the event, beginning at 9:30 a.m. through the conclusion of WaZoo (10:30 p.m.).
Q: What are the options for buying my tickets?
A: You may buy tickets online beginning May 22 until the day before the event at noon, on the phone (ext. 296) beginning June 19 through the day before the event at 5 p.m., and at the front gates of the Zoo between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. beginning June 19 through the day of the event.
Q: Are tickets available the day of the event?
A: Tickets are available the day of the event. All ticket levels have increased costs for purchasing day of. Beastly Beverage Club tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis, depending on availability. Only 1,000 tickets will be sold for this exclusive area.
Q: What is the dress for the event?
A: The event is a casual one held outdoors, therefore susceptible to
both the heat and frequently a passing shower.
Q: How long can I buy my tickets online? How long are the advance ticket prices available?
A: You may buy your tickets ONLINE until NOON the day BEFORE the event (Friday, July 31). Thereafter, you may order them on the phone line until 5 p.m. on Friday, July 31. The day of the event, tickets will only be available at the front gates of the Zoo, at day of prices (an increase) and beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Q: Can I buy just a Wine Garden ticket?
A:No. You must buy either a general admission or Beastly Beverage Club ticket in addition to the Wine Garden ticket to be able to be admitted to the Wine Garden.
Q: What happens if it rains the day of the event or during the event?
A: The event is rain or shine, and because it is a fundraiser for Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo, there are no refunds or exchanges. The only exception is a hurricane watch or warning for Hillsborough county, in which case the event would be postponed by one week.
Q: Will the animals be out?
A: For the safety of our animals with large crowds, they are not out during special events.
However, "animal ambassadors" are on site at the beginning of an event to greet you
at the gates for a short time with their keepers.
Q: Are children allowed to attend?
A: While children are always welcome at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo, this is not necessarily an environment for them, especially with the crowds expected. While no one will be turned away, everyone must have a ticket (for children it would be the Designated Driver ticket) and there are no strollers permitted. In addition, anyone under 21 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
Q: What can I bring into the event?
A: While umbrellas are allowed, items such as chairs, blankets, coolers and especially cups are NOT allowed into the event.
Q: What do I need to get into the event?
A: Everyone will need their drivers' license or state ID to get into the event, in addition to their ticket. IDs will be checked for everyone, regardless of age, so please do not forget yours at home! In addition, to get an ID check, you must have your ticket with you. Make sure you get your tickets at Will Call before you get in line for the ID check.
Q: Is smoking permitted?
A: There are designated smoking areas for cigarettes only (no cigars). For the safety of our animals, please be aware of these areas and respect them!
Q: What is the Beastly Beverage Club?
A: We asked our guests what they expected with this event, and they overwhelmingly answered "a nice size crowd with a constant supply of beverages." We have redesigned the Beastly Beverage Club to offer a space for only those holding tickets, access to the NEW Safari Lodge. This exclusive area is the only air-conditioned space in the event and features, your own DJ, extra food and specialty beers and more in a beautiful venue.
Q: What is Wines on the Wild Side?
A: "Wines on the Wild Side," our wine garden, features some samples from wines with "wild" labels. Not to be taken too seriously, this area of the event features wines such as Porcupine Ridge Merlot, Tall Horse Chardonnay, and Four Emus Shiraz.
Guests are served sample drinks of the wines in this area.
