Unlimited Animal Ride Wristbands
The two animal rides, Pony Trek and Camel Safari are not included in the free ride offer. Tokens can be purchased for each individual animal ride or one day Unlimited Animal Ride Wristbands are available at the Zoo's main entrance ticket windows or at the Zoo Pass booth.

Please Keep In Mind...
- No outside food or beverages may be brought into the Zoo. You may however, receive a hand stamp for re-entry and picnic at one of the surrounding park areas.
- Shirt and shoes must be worn at all times. Roller skate shoes may not be used inside the Zoo.
- No pets are allowed inside the Zoo. Service animals are permitted inside the Zoo.
- For the safety and courtesy of our guests and animals, smoking is only permitted in designated areas. Please consult your Zoo guide map for smoking locations.
- With at least two weeks advance notice, a Sign Language interpreter may be available to enhance your visit to the Zoo. Please contact Reservations at 813-935-8552, ext. 268

In support of our troops, the Zoo is proud to offer Active Duty military and up to three people in their immediate family/direct dependents discounts on tickets at the Zoo’s ticket windows daily (with valid military ID)*. In addition, Department of Defense civilians, reservists, retirees, and active duty military, and their immediate family members, can purchase discounted tickets through MacDill AFB at the 6FSS (with valid military ID).
*Active Military discounts are for daytime admission only; not valid during special events or evening fundraisers. As many as three direct dependents of military personnel also are entitled to discounted admission. Dependents may take advantage of the offer without their service member, though an adult must accompany minor dependents, and dependent ages 10 and over must present valid dependent I.D.

*Guest must present acceptable proof of birth date: driver’s license,
birth certificate, passport or military ID. Offer must be redeemed on
the individual’s actual birthday with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas (day before or after are acceptable for these two holidays).
