Ticket Options

In support of our troops, effective July 1st, the Zoo is proud announce that Active Duty military and up to three people in their immediate family/direct dependents will receive discounts Active Military Admission on tickets at the Zoo’s ticket windows daily (with valid military ID). In addition, Department of Defense civilians, reservists, retirees, and active duty military, and their immediate family members, can purchase discounted tickets through MacDill AFB at the 6FSS (with valid military ID). Active Military discounts are for daytime admission only; not valid during special events or evening fundraisers. As many as three direct dependents of military personnel also are entitled to discounted admission. Dependents may take advantage of the offer without their service member, though an adult must accompany minor dependents, and dependent ages 10 and over must present valid dependent I.D.

Every birthday should be wild! Let Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo help to make it a birthday to remember. The birthday guest will enjoy FREE daytime Zoo admission and celebrate with more than 2,000 animal friends!

*Guest must present acceptable proof of birth date: driver’s license, birth certificate, passport or military ID. Offer must be redeemed on the individual’s actual birthday with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas (day before or after are acceptable for these two holidays). Not combinable with any other offers or discounts. Not valid for special events. Offer has no cash value. Offer expires 12/31/2010.

Please Keep In Mind...

No outside food or beverages may be brought into the Zoo. You may however, receive a hand stamp for re-entry and picnic at one of the surrounding park areas.

Shirt and shoes must be worn at all times. Children must wear footwear in all water play areas. Roller skate shoes may not be used inside the Zoo.

Unlimited Ride Wristbands

At Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo there are several mechanical and animal rides for kids to enjoy. You can purchase an unlimited ride wristband which gets you onto all rides as often as you'd like each day or you can purchase tokens to ride on a specific ride one time. Wrist bands are available at the Zoo's main entrance or any Gift Shop location.

Price with an Annual Zoo Pass: $14.00
Price without an Annual Zoo Pass: $18.00

No pets are allowed inside the Zoo. Service animals are permitted inside the Zoo.

For the safety and courtesy of our guests and animals, smoking is only permitted in designated areas. Please consult your Zoo guide map for smoking locations.
