Thank you for your interest in Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo, a nonprofit organization serving more than one million guests each year.
It is a pleasure when we are able to provide complimentary tickets to showcase the Zoo in auctions and fundraising activities of other nonprofit organizations. We are fortunate to have generous donors and other supporters who make such gestures possible.
In order to best serve our community within available resources, we have established a set of criteria as a guide for your organization in the process. Priority will be given to those nonprofit organizations who:
- Serve the greater Tampa Bay area (Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Hernando and Manatee counties).
- Share our commitment to education, conservation and research.
- Submit the online application with a minimum of 6 weeks in advance of the event date.
Please note: Requests must come from licensed, nonprofit organizations. We are unable to fill requests from individuals. Due to the tremendous volume of inquiries received, limited resources make it impossible to satisfy all that ask for and merit assistance. Approximately 80 percent of the Zoo’s annual operating budget is dependent upon earned revenue, so it is necessary for the Zoo to limit the number of complimentary admission tickets distributed each year. Zoo staff is unable to return phone calls or expedite requests concerning ticket donations. However, it is our intention that every application will be acknowledged with a response by mail.
