Strollers & Wheelchairs

The Zoo offers the rental of wheelchairs, electric scooters, and strollers on a first come, first served basis.

Due to the popularity of our rentals, we are unable to guarantee availability and/or reserve equipment.

A photo ID, or $5.00 (refundable) deposit is required to rent a manual wheelchair or stroller. A photo ID is required to rent an electric scooter.

Manual Wheelchair: $8.00
Electric Scooter: $17.00 for 3 hours -or- $25.00 for the day
Strollers: $8.56 (single) / $10.70 (double)

Personal wheelchairs, strollers and small wagons for children are allowed for use inside the Zoo.

Take A Break At The "Mommy Stop"

Thanks to generous support from the Fisher-Price Company, the Zoo is pleased to offer the "Mommy Stop." Located next to the Manatee Fountain area at the Zoo's main entrance, this shaded tranquil area provides a relaxing oasis for moms to rest with their little ones during their day at
the Zoo!
