Besides our wonderful animal residents, the Zoo also offers fun rides for all ages. Whether you take a camel ride in Safari Africa or soar high above the Zoo on the Skyfari Skyride, there are lots of fun things to do all around Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo!
The Overland Express in Wallaroo Station is a classic locomotive train ride named after "The Overland," one of Australia's great trains. Tokens Needed: 2 Children must be 4 years of age to ride alone. Children under 4 years of age must accompanied by an adult.	Purchase an ANNUAL RIDE PASS for only $45. This pass offers unlimited rides everytime you visit the Zoo. Click here for more information. Rides are an additonal cost. Tokens are $1 each. Tokens can be purchased for each individual ride or one day unlimited ride wristbands are available at the Zoo's main entrance or any Gift Shop location. SAVE TIME & MONEY! Get your mates and hop on board for a wild ride! This family-friendly roller coaster takes you on ups and downs in the down under - Wallaroo Station. Tokens Needed: 4 Children must be at least 36" tall, 3 years old and be able to hold onto the lap bar to ride. Children under 42" tall must be accompanied by a paying adult.	If you're looking for a totally wild log flume ride, consider this a sign. Our new Gator Falls comes with raging waters, a treacherous 30-foot drop, and even some hungry alligators waiting for you at the end. Get set to get WET! Tokens Needed: 4 Riders must be at least 42" tall to ride. Children under the age of 6 years must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Go on safari at the Zoo with our guided tour of the Safari Africa habitat area! Climb aboard the custom-made safari vehicle for a 15-minute long narrated ride. The open-air tram departs from the Africa Plaza and offers behind-the-scenes views of dozens of African animals, including the Zoo's juvenile elephant, Tamani. Tokens Needed: 3 Any rider under 54" must be accompanied by a responsible adult.	At Boomer's Flyin' Bananas in Wallaroo Station, kids can soar high in their own flying banana! The bananas "fly" in a circular motion, and children can use control levers to move them up and down. Tokens Needed: 2 Children must be at least 3 years old & less than 100 pounds to ride.
Catch a bird's eye view of the Zoo on the new Treetop Skyfari sky ride. This roundtrip voyage starts and ends in Safari Africa. You'll soar above the trees and see what's happening in the Zoo below. You'll also have a great view of downtown Tampa and surrounding areas. Tokens Needed: 4 See ride operator for restrictions.	Round and round you go on this colorful carousel. Take a ride on a cheetah, manatee, elephant or another exotic creature. Tokens Needed: 2 Children under 36" must be accompanied by an adult.
Wallaroo Station is home to the "Pony Trek" were kids can go for a casual ride on the back of a Haflinger horse. On the weekends, the Zoo has added an adult llama to the ride. Their fluffy fur makes the ride fun and enjoyable for smaller children. Tokens Needed: 4 Children must be at least 2 years old to ride. Weight restrictions apply, please see ride attendant for more details.	Cross the sands on your very own camel! Hop on the back of a camel and see what it's like to ride one of these magnificent animals. Tokens Needed: 4 Children under 36" must be accompanied by an adult.
