Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo.
Please note that the Zoo School does not provide the actual badge.
Please contact your local council for information regarding the purchase of the badge.
Boy Scout Workshops offered:
Tiger: "Let's Go Outdoors" Badge
Wolf: "Your Living World" Badge
Bear: "Sharing Your World With Wildlife" Badge
Webelos: "Naturalist" Badge
Cubs: "World Conservation" Badge
Boy Scouts:"Mammal Merit" Badge
Workshops are $13 per scout. Minimum of 10 scouts or $130. Chaperone Ratios: 1:4, extra adults $6.50 per adult. A minimum of 4 weeks advance notice is needed to book a workshop. Please call 813-935-8552 ext. 232.

Nite Site Fees:
$34 per participant. 1 free chaperone for every 10 participants
Minimum of 15 participants required.
Smaller groups may book for a minimum of $510 flat rate.
Extended Nite Sites:
Extend your Nite Site and enjoy a guided in Zoo tour from 8:00a.m. to 9:30a.m.. Your group may spend the rest of the day in the Zoo on their own.
Additional fee: $8.00 per participant (same ratio applies).
Please call at least 2 months in advance to schedule your Nite site.
SPECIAL DISCOUNT: Have your Sleepover at the Zoo during the months of August-February and receive a $9.00 discount per person!
Only $25.00 per participant when your nite site is held August-February.
Africa :
Experience the animals of Africa at night. Listen to the elephants trumpet while you sleep in the cool Africa Tunnel. Learn about Africa animals and meet some up close.
Australia:
Learn about Australian culture and meet some of the amazing animals that call "the land down under" home. Bring your swimsuit and enjoy frolicking in the Billabong. Don't forget your towel!
Manatee:
Come see what the Lowry Park Zoo does to save Florida's gentle giants. Tour our rescue facilities and sleep near the manatees in our air-conditioned Manatee Building.
Nocturnal Adventures:
Join us to learn about the creatures of the night. Stalk and slither your way through the Zoo to see the Nocturnal animals in action. Don't forget your flashlight!
Rainforest:
Awesome and unique animals call the Rainforest home. Join us to take a look at the diverse beings that are part of this one-of-a-kind eco-system.
