Parent and Child Classes
Bring your little one and join us for one of our exciting
Animal Themed classes. Classes are designed with
specific age groups in mind.
Our beginner Zoo Class is called Animal Tails and is geared towards 1.5 to 3 year olds. Class includes an introduction to literacy through the use of story telling. Age appropriate activities, a snack time, and a Zoo hike are included during this exciting 1-hour class.
Beginning January 2005, we will be introducing an exciting extension of our popular ABC Animal Explorers class called Pre-Zoo. Pre-Zoo is a perfect way to introduce you and your child to a preschool classroom setting. During this 1.5 hour, 2 day, weekly themed class. Children will have the opportunity to be part of a group setting, participate in an animal themed circle time, Sing-along to fun songs, exercise to Animal Yoga, work on their literacy skills through weekly journal writing, enjoy a snack, and end the day with a heart healthy Zoo hike.
Home School Programs
We also offer educational Home school Programs that meet the Sunshine State Standards for science. Classes are offered for Grades K-2 and 3-5. These exciting programs are interactive and hands-on. Participants have the opportunity to meet an animal, make an enrichment, do hands-on activities, and go on a Zoo hike.
Parent's Night Out
Parents drop your kids off at the Zoo for the evening and go out, and have yourself a Wild time. We will supply the entertainment, pizza, and Sierra Mist for your child's awesome Zoo experience.
Drop off time: 5:30p.m.
Pick up time: 11p.m.
Fee: $30 for one child, $25 for two or more children (per child rate)
Age: 3-5 (must be potty trained)
Ages: 6-8
Dates: First Saturday of every Month
Registration must take place at least one week in advance.
