Zoo Attractions Zoo Shows Manatee Encounter     Join our Zoo Keepers at the manatee amphitheater for the "Manatee Encounter" show. It's located just outside the Manatee Center. During this 15 minute long introduction to Florida's Endangered West Indian Manatee you'll learn about how Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo actively helps in the preserving this animal in the wild. You'll hear about why the manatees are in the zoo, what you can do to help them and what can be done to save them in the wild. You'll also be able to ask questions about the manatees.
