Doors open to DinoQuest 2 at 10 a.m.

On DinoQuest2 you'll confirm the sightings of 22 life-size animatronic dinosaurs that move, blink and roar, gather fun Dino facts, practice paleontology at the "I Dig It" fossil dig site, try moving the mechanical T-rex, and then speed down the "Velocity-Raptor" slide. You can also choose to purchase a relic from the "Shop-A-Saurus" gift shop. Tickets are $4 per person, plus Zoo admission. Some discounts are available.

Here you will find a wide variety of books, plush dinos, apparel, games and much more! Plus, proceeds from your purchases goes to support expert animal care at the Zoo and wildlife conservation programs around the world.
T-Rex Robot

See how the animatronic dinosaurs work with this interactive T-Rex robot. Try your hand at making it move with the controller!

Catch some speed as you zoom down this awesome triple-slide! This activity is included in DinoQuest2/Dino Nites admission. Height & weight restrictions apply.

Max weight per rider: 200lbs.
Children must be at least 48” tall to ride and a maximum of 76".

Children may not ride on the lap of an adult. Socks are not required.

A Morning in the Mesozoic

Begin your day with a continental breakfast, an educational discussion on the Age of Reptiles, and a tour through DinoQuest2. Become a paleontological protégé as you discover the incredible diversity of dinosaurs and their relatives.

Prehistoric Parents’ DinoNite Out

Drop your kids off at the Zoo for a journey that includes admission into DinoNites - a unique nighttime experience of the DinoQuest2 attraction, entertainment, a pizza snack, and drinks! While your kids are exploring the prehistoric past, you can stay in the present and go out and have a wild time!

Program Information:
  • Ages: 3-12
  • Saturday, April 6
  • Drop off at 5:30 p.m. • Pick up at 11 p.m.
  • $40 for one child, $20 for each additional child
  • Pre-school students must be potty trained

Tricera-tots Egg Hunt –
A holiday themed class for Family Flock

Join your peewee paleontologist on an egg-starordinary egg hunt. In this eggs-pedition, you’ll learn about the egg layers of the past and present. Be sure to bring your baskets!

Kickin’ It Old-School Holiday Camps

No school? No problem! Students in grades K-8 can join the Zoo in some old-school style fun and education during Hillsborough County Spring Break.

Thunder Lizards (K-3)/Paleontology Rocks (4-8)
Uncover what the world was like when dinosaurs ruled the Earth and what creatures still remain from the primal past.

    Jurassic Journeys

    Discover what the animals living in the Zoo today have in common with their prehistoric predecessors. This family friendly tour begins in the present and ends millions of years in the past.!

    Program Information:
    • Ages: 5 to adult
    • 60 minutes
    • $10 per participant
    • $150 flat rate for groups under 15 participants
    • Includes entrance into DinoQuest2. Does not include Zoo admission before/after program. However, Zoo access can be added for a discounted group rate. Group rates must be scheduled in advance.
