The Silver-beaked tanager is a very dark bird. They have deep red plumage and maroon coloring on their throat and chest. The silver beaked tanager male has a silvery-white beak while the female has a gray bill. The female birds build the nests alone in the shape of a small basket.  The birds lay two eggs during the breeding season. The eggs will hatch 12 days after the incubation period. The bi
