A South African nyala gave birth to a female calf in the Zoo's Safari Africa mixed species exhibit. The calf, named "Autumn," was born on November 30, 2013 spends most of her time with her mother, named “Neema,” and enjoys exploring the exhibit and lying with the duikers in the tall grass. Autumn is doing very well and is growing into a mature young lady. She still spends most of her time with her mom and dad and loves to roam the Zoo’s Safari Africa exhibit.
