Check out these great opportunities to indulge your inner child and see what your kids are talking about! The Zoo offers a variety of programming geared towards adult audiences. Whether you are interested in a short program or long-term educational opportunities about animals and the environment, Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo is your resource.

ZOO TO YOU PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS
The Zoo offers animals that can come out to your facility. Programming can take place indoors or outdoors for large or small audiences.

ADULT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNTIES AT THE ZOO
Volunteers provide valuable assistance in almost every area of the Zoo's operations. These committed individuals donate over 40,000 hours a year in a variety of capacities.

Classes for Adults

Our adult continuing education classes take place from September to February. Please check back in August to see what exciting new topics we will be offering this year.
                                  
Program Information:
• Ages: 18 and up
• Time: 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. 
• Cost: Zoo Pass Holders $25
Non-Zoo Pass Holders $40
• Includes Zoo admission

VIP GUIDED TOURS

Have you ever wondered what happens behind-the-scenes of a zoo? Find out VIP style! Hands-on activities, up-close encounters, in-depth knowledge, animal interactions, and a personalized touch truly make this a one of a kind experience. A perfect gift idea for animal lovers and the someone who has it all.

Program Information:
•Ages: 18 & up
•Cost: $100 per person, maximum 6 people
•Time: Approx. 1.5 hours
•Tours are scheduled 7 days a week. For Saturday and Sunday tours, please book early.
• Payment is due two weeks in advance.
• Not all requests can be accommodated due to Zoo policies.

Scavenger Hunts/Team Building Activities

Use your animal instincts to solve clues, work together, and have fun with Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo’s scavenger hunts and teambuilding programs such as ZSI: Zoo Scene Investigation and Teambuilding Trek. Perfect for clubs, classes, organizations, families, parties, or any group who wants to have a little adventure as they explore the Zoo. Fun for small and large groups and for all ages.

Program Information:
• Options for ages 5 to adult
• 60 minutes
• Minimum total of 15 people, including chaperones
• 15-30 participants $75
• 31-60 participants $90
• 61-90 participants $110
• 91-120 participants $130
• 121-150 participants $165
• 151-200 participants $200

PARENTS' NIGHT OUT

Parents drop your kids off at the Zoo for the evening while you go out and have a wild time! We will supply the entertainment, pizza, and Sierra Mist for your child's awesome Zoo experience.

Program Information:
• Ages 3-12 (must be potty trained)
• Dates: 1st Saturday of each month (2nd Saturday in August)
• Times: Drop off at 5:30 p.m. Pick up at
11 p.m.
• Cost: $30 for one child, $10 for two or more children (per child rate)
• One week advance registration is required to attend Parent's Night Out.
