Whether you are interested in a short program or long-term educational opportunities about animals and the environment, Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo is your resource.

ZOO TO YOU PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS
The Zoo offers programs where animals can come to your facility. Programming can take place indoors or outdoors for large or small audiences.
ADULT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNTIES AT THE ZOO
Volunteers provide valuable assistance in almost every area of the Zoo's operations. These committed individuals donate over 40,000 hours a year in a variety of capacities.

Team Building Trek
Looking for a fun way to boost individuals connecting together in a team? Team Building Trek is a 90 minute series of activities designed to build leadership, communication and team-work among your group. The Trek begins with an activity that will help group members identify their “leadership species” (their personal style of working with others), followed by a team problem-solving challenge that will test your group’s ability to work as a team. The session wraps up with a mini-scavenger hunt in the zoo based the “leadership species” of your group.
Program Information:
- Ages: Teen – adult
- 15 - 30 participants $250,
31 - 60 participants $350
Zoo access is not required for this program, however, Zoo access can be included for a discounted group rate. Group rates must be scheduled in advance and one person needs to pay for everyone on the day of your visit.

Scavenger Hunt
Use your animal instincts to solve clues, work together, and have fun with the Zoo’s scavenger hunts such as ZSI: Zoo Scene Investigation. Scavenge smartly and hunt hurriedly…the winning group gets a prize.
Program Information:
- Ages 5 to adults
- 60 minutes
- Minimum 15 people
- 15-100 participants $125;
101-200 participants $225
- Zoo admission is required. Must be booked in advance.

A Morning in the Mesozoic
Begin your day with a continental breakfast, an educational discussion on the Age of Reptiles, and a tour through DinoQuest2. Become a paleontological protégé as you discover the incredible diversity of dinosaurs and their relatives.

Family Premium Experience
Bring the little ones for a one-of-a-kind experience designed to be fun for both adults and young children. Your family will travel around the Zoo with a tour guide to visit and interact with some of our amazing animals which may include stingrays, Key deer, meerkats, and more. These tours are stroller-friendly, include bathroom breaks, and provide many hands-on opportunities with our Zoo residents.
Family Premium Experience Program Information:
- Ages: all
- Approx. 90 minutes
- $100 per adult, $50 per child ages 3-12 (ages 2 and under are free)
- Maximum of 6 participants (including children 2 and under) per tour
- Includes Zoo admission

Hands-on Premium Behind-the-Scenes Experience
Want to get your hands on the animals? Then this tour is for you! This unique experience travels behind-the-scenes to provide unique encounters with some of our touch-friendly animals including singing dogs, okapi, white rhinos, Aldabra tortoises, Key deer, and more*. This walking tour provides fantastic photo opportunities and one-of-a-kind memories.
Globe Trotter Premium Behind-the-Scenes Experience
Visit with our diverse collection of animals from around the world as we travel behind-the-scenes for some up-close interactions. On this exclusive, memorable tour, you’ll see representatives from every continent including wallabies, meerkats, penguins, Indian rhinos, black bears, and more*.
Zookeeper Sneak Peek Premium Behind-the-Scenes Experience
Have you ever wondered what a day in the life of a zookeeper is like? Come explore some of the most interesting aspects of this wild career. This exclusive experience gives a sneak peek into the daily duties performed by our zookeepers. The Zookeeper Sneak Peek includes a tour of the commissary, observing an elephant training session, and will also provide you with the opportunity to feed or make diets for a few of the Zoo’s animals which may include the anoa, manatees, aviary birds, and more*.

Do you have a favorite Zoo animal that you don’t see listed on these tours? Or would you like to make your own version of a behind-the-scenes tour by mixing parts from each of those seen here? Our tour guide will work with you to provide a personally-tailored trip to make sure you get to see all of your favorites*!

- There is an additional cost of $50 per person for the Create-Your-Own Experience

Parents' Night Out
Looking for more than just a babysitter? Trust your children to the professional Education Department staff at the Zoo. Take advantage of our reliable service that includes entertainment, a pizza snack, and drinks while you go out and have a wild time!
Program Information:
• Ages: 3-12 (must be potty trained)
• Dates: 1st Saturday of each month (2nd Saturday in August)
• Drop off at 5:30p.m. Pick up at 11p.m.
• $30 for one child, $10 for each additional child ($40 for one child, $20 for each additional child for April's Prehistoric DinoNite Out)
• One week advance registration is required
